The paging to email gateway was originally designed to forward specific pages to cellular phones for any emergency service provider (Police/Fire/EMS) without any change to the existing infrastructure. Since the county's rollout of the new encrypted two-way paging system, the old Zetron system has remained operational without any future upgrades planned. The current focus of the gateway has been expanded from basic forwarding based on capcode to a full on-line suite including text based filters (ie. any "STRUCT" coded call), multiple email address forwards, comparative anaylsis of multiple pages to ensure accuracy, and many other options.
